What Is a Centrifugal Ventilation Fan?

A centrifugal fan is a device that uses centrifugal force to move air. This force is created by spinning impellers. When a gas particle approaches the impellers, it is thrown off the impeller and guides itself to the outlet ducts. As the gas passes through the impellers, its kinetic energy is measured as pressure. As the gas passes out through the ducts, the pressure decreases in the middle part of the impellers. To compensate for the drop in pressure, a fresh gas from the eye of the impeller rushes in to normalize the pressure.

The top cap has quick-release clips, and a grease spout is installed factory-installed. The motor is also equipped with a safety disconnect switch.
