When there is air leakage from the joint surface of the horizontal middle part of the cast iron casing, use the feeler gauge and the lead wire method to check the gap of the joint surface. If the free gap is not more than 0.08mm, linseed mixed paste or foreign dry paint can be used on the joint surface. If the gap is more than 0.08mm but not more than 0.15mm, a lead wire with a diameter of 0.05~01mm or a lead wire with a diameter of 0.25mm should be placed.
